1983 · THE NATIONAL ENDURANCE RACE

Enduro.
Two ways.

Pass the cars. Beat daybreak. Do it again tomorrow.

One race engine, two cabinets: the cartridge exactly as it looked on a 2600, and a remastered build with modern light, weather and sound. Same rules, same traffic — arrow keys on a keyboard, thumb pads on iPhone and Android.

THE RACE

Pass 200 cars on day one and 300 on every day after. Each car you pass counts down; each car that passes you counts back up. Meet the quota and green flags fly — keep driving until daybreak to start the next day.

THE ROAD

Snow turns the steering to soap, dusk dims the world, at night you see only tail lights, and fog hides everything until it's close. Rivals get faster and spread wider every day. Last five days and the trophy is yours.
